D'après l'histoire vraie du britannique Nicholas Winton (1909-2015). Avant le début de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, âgé de 29 ans, il sauve 669 enfants tchécoslovaques dont beaucoup sont juifs d'une mort certaine dans les camps d'extermination nazis. British stockbroker Nicholas Winton visits Czechoslovakia in the 1930s and forms plans to assist in the rescue of Jewish children before the onset of World War II, in an operation that came to be known as the Kindertransport.
